Carryduff GAC are excited to announce the start of its 2025 Football Nursery Academy. This will be very much football focused with some hurling/camogie included. We plan to commence on Saturday 5th April between 09:00 and 10:00. We would kindly ask that parents register their child’s interest initially so we can gauge likely numbers and therefore coaches required.

We would also encourage parents to put themselves forward as coaches. On average, 100 young Gaels turn up every Saturday morning and coaches are essential to run the session. Without the coaches, the Nursery Academy would simple not function.

Becoming a GAA coach is one of the most rewarding ways to support your child and the local club and community. As a coach, you’ll play a vital role in developing children’s skills, confidence, and love for Gaelic games while fostering teamwork, discipline, and a sense of belonging. No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, with plenty of training and support provided by the club.
