Our U8 ladies footballers travelled to Teconnaught on Saturday afternoon to take part in the final Down Go Games Blitz of the year. The girls played matches against Liatroim, Teconnaught, Loughinisland and Bredagh. They performed superbly against some tough opposition and had a very enjoyable day. Thanks to our hosts Teconnaught for a very well run blitz. Thanks also to all the coaches who helped out and to the parents, who have given such great support to the girls all year.
As this was the final Go Games Blitz of the year, a special word of thanks goes out to whole U8 panel of players who have been magnificent all season. They have worked hard every week at training to develop their skills and have been a credit to the club in all the various games they have taken part in over the course of the year. The future of ladies football within the club is very bright indeed! Well done to all.”
