Belfast One Young World Summit’ 18yrs+
Dear Sports Inspire Participant,
We have a very exciting opportunity for young Gaels to volunteer at the upcoming One Young World – Forum for Young Leaders which takes place in October in Belfast. Details below:
In October Belfast is playing host to an international youth conference called the ‘One Young World Summit’ (you can have a look at the previous Summits and read about One Young World at their website here One Young World | Forum For Young Leaders). And there is going to be a huge number of young leaders & influencers from all over the world coming here to hear speakers like Bob Geldof, Mary Robinson, Didier Drogba etc. talking about the most urgent events & issues affecting young people right now, from October 2nd to October 5th.
Volunteer Now has been tasked with recruiting and managing the volunteers for this event (we need about 150 to act as hosts, conference assistants, meet & greeters, etc. ) and we are aiming to have as many of these as possible in the 18-30 year old category (they do need to be 18+) so I am hoping you could promote this volunteering opportunity among your members to see if any of them would be interested in coming along to volunteer with us. Delegate tickets to this event cost £3-5K so they’d be getting free access to a pretty impressive event.
