Chairman’s note of thanks after the Féile

As Chairperson and on behalf of the Committee and wider membership of Carryduff GAC I wish to acknowledge the enormous contribution made by so many volunteers to make our Féile 2018 such a tremendous success. The planning that was undertaken from early in the year, the selfless giving of so much time by so many individuals blossomed into the complete carnival weekend.

This could not have been achieved without the generosity of spirit and goodwill of everyone involved.

Over the weekend it became a clear manifestation of how we can present and are seen by others as a club.

Numerous of our visitors – young players, managers and mentors, parents and supporters – spoke with me in person to express their gratitude in relation to how they were received in Carryduff and to acknowledge how much all those efforts had contributed to an exceptional weekend for them.

As you can imagine this gave me an enormous sense of pride in our club.

So thank you – each and everyone who gave of your time, labour and skills to portray Carryduff GAC in such an inspiring light. A job very very well done!
