It was the first East Down blitz of the U10.5 season and Carryduff were in a strong position, able to field two teams for the trip to Dromara GAC. The opposition came from Drumaness, Loughinisland and St Johns but the Carryduff squads were in good shape on a beautiful morning in the shadow of Slieve Croob. Across the teams there was excellent defending; man for man marking; accurate passing and some great scores. There’s superb skill across this age-group and plenty of time to hone that talent in the weeks and months ahead.
