Following the completion of the nomination process for the upcoming positions of office in the incoming Executive Committee, please find attached a ballot for those positions where there are more than one candidate in the running.
In line with County Board guidelines, votes will be cast as a delivered vote. Please download the attached ballot paper, sign it add your GAA Membership number and vote for the candidate you wish to elect. Once complete, place in an envelope and deliver to the ballot box at the club grounds between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday 21st November 2020. Please ensure to take all necessary precautions when doing so, i.e. wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing.
The votes will be locked away by the returning officers for a duration of 72 hours to ensure compliance with Covid guidelines. The result of the vote will only be known to these returning officers and will be delivered by them at the AGM. Votes received outside this window or without a signature and the GAA Membership number will not be counted.
Details on how to obtain the membership number can be obtained are included on the attached document. Please email the secretary (secretary.carryduff.down@gaa.ie) before midnight on the 26th November 2020, should you wish to attend the AGM. This years AGM will be delivered on the GAA recommended platform, MS Teams. An email invite with directions on how to use Teams will be sent out prior to the meeting only to the email addresses made known to the secretary by this date.
Feel free to pass this info on to any member who may not have received the email – as communications via this channel is dependant on people opting in to receive communications from the club when registering. The document will also be available for download from the club website and details will be posted on the clubs social media channels.
