Carryduff’s Premier reserve footballers set their stall out to give senior management a clear message in relation to hunger for first team places with a comprehensive 6-20 to 0-08 victory over Longstone when the Mourne outfit made the trip to Páirc Aodha Dhuibh on Sunday afternoon. Holding Longstone to a total of two points in the first half, Carryduff amassed an impressive 3-09 with goals from Joe McConnell (6th and 21st) and Ruairi McKay (8th) and points from Darren Ross (2 converted 45m free, 3rd and29th), Ronan Mclaughlin (11th and 23rd), Ruairi McKay 13th and 26th), Seamus McCann (14th) and Gareth Henderson (28th).
 
Carryduff used their substitutes to maximum benefit in the second half. Although Longstone registered six points in the half a resolute Carryduff performance saw them dominate the opening and closing ten minutes of the half and add a further 3-11 to their overall score Points from Paddy McConnell (31st) Ronan Lavery (33rd) Ruairi McKay 33rd, 35th and 36th) and a goal from Conor Rooney (32nd) had effectively finished the game but further points from Conor Roney (42nd 45th and 47th) Ronan McLaughlin (43rd) and Daniel McCartan 953rd) and Joe McConnell (55th) along with goals from Ronan McLaughlin (43rd) and mark hynes (59th) gave Carryduff an emphatic victory.
