Carryduff had a few wides before James Guinnness’s converted free eight minutes in settled them into the game. Ronan Beatty goaled for the home side (10th) to press their advantage but points from Conor Francis (10th) and Hughes (11th) levelled the affair and injected some enthusiasm into both sets of supporters. Along with a number of shots wide of target, Bredagh tagged on further points from Emmett Costello (14th) and Alan Davisdson (15th). Carryduff replied with points from Ronan Beatty (free, 15th ) and James Guinness (16th) . Davidson levelled the game with a further point in the 18th minute .
